Questions we hear a lot
Here are the questions we get asked most often. If yours is not here, call us. Bruce or someone on the crew is always glad to help.
▲ What areas do you serve?
We are based in Boydton, Virginia, and we cover a wide stretch of Virginia and North Carolina, roughly 130 miles out in most directions. That reaches from Southside and Central Virginia across northern and central North Carolina, into eastern North Carolina, and all the way to the coast. It is a big area and we cannot be everywhere at once, so the surest thing is to give us a call and we will tell you how soon we can get to you.
▲ How long have you been in business?
More than 30 years. Owner Bruce Hamilton has been roofing that entire time, building the company one honest job at a time. A lot of our work today comes from people we roofed for years ago and the neighbors they have referred to us since.
▲ Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured. It protects you and it protects us, and it is something worth confirming with any roofer before you let them on your property.
▲ Are your estimates and inspections really free?
They are, with no obligation. We will come out, look your roof over, and give you an honest assessment and a free estimate. You decide where to go from there. We would rather earn your trust than charge you to find out where you stand.
▲ Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes. The roofs we install carry a 10-year workmanship warranty, and we stand behind all our work with a satisfaction guarantee. On top of that, your roofing materials carry their own manufacturer warranty, and we will walk you through exactly what yours covers so there are no surprises.
▲ What kinds of roofs do you work on?
All of them. Asphalt and architectural shingles, metal roofs of every kind, and flat and rubber roofing, on homes and on commercial buildings. From a small repair to a full replacement, we handle the whole range.
▲ Can you help in an emergency or after a storm?
Yes. If you have an active leak, call us and we will get out as soon as we can and tarp the roof to stop the water while we put together the repair. After a big storm a lot of people need help at once, so we cannot promise an exact hour, but an open, leaking roof takes priority.
▲ How do I get started?
Call us or request a free estimate, and we will set up a time to come look at your roof. We will tell you honestly what it needs, whether that is a repair, a replacement, or nothing at all yet. No pressure and no hard sell.
